I’m Kimberlee Bilbrew, a California Real Estate Agent based in Southern California. I have a heart for the people and thrive off the success of those around me; I want everyone to win. That includes YOU. I have grown to be intrigued with Real Estate and assisting clients with making investments has been one of my greatest achievements to date.
Hey!
So, nice to have you stop by!
KIMBERLEE BILBREW
IS YOUR PLUG
FOR ALL THINGS
REAL ESTATE.
I AM THE DIRECT DESCENDANT OF THE FOUNDERS OF MILLER'S GROVE,
a community in Illinois built by a small group of free African Americans from Tennessee in the mid-1800s. I am also the granddaughter of Willie Bilbrew Sr., a renowned general contractor, who built several homes in the greater Los Angeles area, after migrating from Mississippi. Growing up my family traveled to Mississippi, Ohio, and other states where both my maternal and paternal families resided. Anywhere we traveled my family always had acres of land, a neighborhood homestead, or a street named Bilbrew Road. This is what instilled my understanding of being the anchor, the base, and the community guru of resources.
Throughout my 25-year tenure in child welfare, I practiced keeping families together, understanding their family system, advocating for them to keep their family voice, and understanding how to activate the power of the community in which they reside. This fueled my passion to ensure democracy in housing for marginalized communities. I have had much success in real estate with these principles. Making sure that the veteran who lived in his family home for over 65 years is not displaced, and at 89 years old is now a homeowner.
THROUGHOUT MY 25-YEAR TENURE IN CHILD WELFARE
THESE ARE THE PRINCIPLES ON WHICH WE BUILD ON
as I serve as Kimberlee Bilbrew,
THE REAL ESTATE PLUG.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced as a realist is the disproportionality and disparity in housing.
IT IS MY MISSION
to educate people in homeownership, and how it can create direct access to generational wealth.
I work diligently to reframe the mindset of potential buyers, to understand that they are deserving of homeownership.
